Very good place to stopover. Donald is the manager. You can stay at either Stella Maris Resort right next to the airport or the Cape Santa Maria which requires a twenty minute taxi ride. The resort is situated on the east side, facing the ocean. Cape Santa Maria is on the calm west side bay.

Excellent FBO especially for the remote location. Jet-A is premixed.

Just back from our third annual trip to Stella Maris with a week at Cape Santa Maria. Like others, we have had a wonderful experience with Donald at the FBO. I used Flashpass to submit eAPIS on the last two trips and strongly recommend it as you can save manifests for future duplication and return filling. Also provides ability to submit eAPIS from a personal mobile device. When returning from MYLS, easy to pickup IFR clearance with Miami Center on 127.22 at 6,000 ft.

Back again. Still excellent service! Fuel prices a bit lower too. Love staying at the Cape Santa Maria resort.

Once again, excellent service here. Fuel price includes 10% VAT, not 7.5% as noted for the FBO, but costs are reasonable considering the remote location. Bahamian authorities are increasing the cruising permit fee from $50 to $150 starting July 1, 2024 for a private aircraft. I suggest Cape Santa Maria resort about 10 miles north of MYLS.
