Nice, but busy GA airport. Every other weekend is "display day" for property tax exemption program. Many nice planes on display, with the 99er's hosting docents for tours. Airport Mgr offers 100LL on sale over these weekends. Discount is usually $.75 to $1 off of self-serve. Ella's restaurant is first rate with a terrific patio on the transient apron to watch planes and eat. Pilots flying in for brunch, lunch or dinner receive a 15% discount off the bill if you mention you're a pilot to the server.

No interaction with anyone on the ground. Ate at Ella’s at the Airport restaurant; decent but a little pricey. Unbeknownst to me (no NOTAMS and their website was deficient of information) they were having an open house at the airport, which is fine except for the Huey that came in and hover-taxied past the line of parkied planes blasting debris into my plane!
