Do not bother asking for assistance on the weekends. They seem too unmotivated to take action.

My wife and I flew our 182 to Vicksburg a couple of weeks ago and were treated like family by Ron, Samantha, and John. Samantha was asking what we needed while we were still on final! Thanks to the KVKS team for the excellent welcome and seamless service.

The ramp and taxiways present a FOD hazard. Access to the self serve is through an area that used to be a hangar. They did not remove the old door tracks creating sharp edges you must taxi over to get to the fuel pump. The nice fuel prices are not worth the FOD hazard.
