Ohio University Airport KUNI Pilot Reviews

This is a first class, customer first organization! Stopped here due to ceilings below minimums at destination. Took care of the single engine plane with a reasonable rate in a heated hangar. Provided crew car to get to town for hotel. Let us keep some frozen groceries in the staff break room freezer. It is also staffed 24/7 without callout fees for line service. Top flight service all the way for very reasonable rates. Don't forget - the cheapest gas doesn't always give the lowest cost.

Stopped here as the third airport for my 250nm commercial xc with my instructor. Ground crew was out to promptly direct us before we even turned off the taxiway and fueled us up fast. Inside the facility was clean, cool (it was summer), and quiet with very friendly attendants and crew. If you don't mind that it does get busy with student pilots (like myself) in the pattern then I would suggest this location.

Flew into Ohio University Airport for fuel just behind a stationery front and was unable to continue the next leg. Moose (yes, that's the name he gave my wife and I) took fantastic care of us, pointing us to the local University-run hotel, putting the plane inside a heated hangar to prevent it icing up, and loaning us a crew car. He was also there the next morning at 7 am to get us on our way just ahead of the next front. Moose helped us turn an aggravating delay into an enjoyable experience.

Stopped here because of weather - Line crew was right out to the ramp to greet and re-fuel. They offered the crew car with several suggestions for local lunch spots or farther afield if we wanted the chain restaurants (we went local). Excellent lounge to wait out the storm, and a snooze room if we needed it. Pop & snacks available in the vending machine.
