This was our initial stop on a wonderful Father/Son journey from Oshkosh to the American west. Rick was extremely friendly and as a fellow AF guard members shared common experiences with my Son. The courtesy car permitted us to visit the town and this is strongly suggested. We suggest the 5 O'clock club. The pilot lounge was ideal for a brief layover with very tidy restrooms. Fuel was reasonably priced and Rick loaned us a tie down rope because of windy conditions. Highly recommended to stop here; you are welcomed.

Service and amenities at KUBE are FIVE star! Landed prior to 8AM to attend a funeral in Rice Lake WI. Signing out the late model crew car with full tank was easy and convenient. (12 hour advertised limit on the crew car!) We returned 4 hours later to meet manager Richard Brekke who is GA enthusiast whose father was WW II P51 pilot. Rick helped me top off with reasonably priced fuel and friendly conversation. GA airports like this are a vanishing breed - be sure to patronize airports like KUBE!

Excellent airport with friendly people, a courtesy car, and reasonably priced fuel. There is a maintenance shop on the field, but they only service Cirrus aircraft. Cumberland has much to offer, including Louie’s Meat Market. Communication with Minneapolis center was somewhat unreliable below 6,000 ft the day I visited.

I have visited KUBE at least 4 times in the last 2 months and I had an excellent experience every time, clean and neat, courtesy car available, really nice manager.

Met Rick the FBO Manager and we had a superb chat on our visit to UBE. Took the a/p car to town and had a wonderful lunch and shopping at a locally well known meat market. Wisconsin food at its best!
