Just came back from our trip to Tampa. We usually go to TPA, but ended up flying to Pete O Knight due to runway closures at TPA. What an amazing experience. Small town airport in a big city. 15 minutes from our airport hotel. Super friendly staff. We took on 20 gallons of fuel and they waived all fees including overnight charges. How can you not love this place? We will certainly be back.

TPA approach very friendly and easy to work with. Helpful in transition to landing. Atlas is a great FBO. Very friendly staff. Waived overnight fee with a small fuel purchase. Choice of overnight location given. CFIs on site friendly and willing to give perspective on local departure routes (VFR/IFR) and contact freq. be mindful of the towers southeast, and caution of Macdill airspace and tfc pattern 04/36 KTPF is an easy quick airport for access to Tampa. Will always return here with a smile.

Fifty dollars per night for a twin. One night was waived with a twenty gallon fuel purchase. FBO staff and Go Rentals car service were excellent as always. Clearance can be reached on the ground using a handheld radio and the aircraft radio on 119.8.
