October 3, 2025Long runway. But lots of small cracks with weeds, though smooth taxiing. Affordable 100LL self-serve is newly updated. Yes, still a 4WD courtesy car available, but I believe the fuel gauge is stuck on full. Keys are in the desk drawer. You must call the posted number to be let out. It is truly an isolated location. I don't think I saw more than 10 vehicles in 4 hours. Good burger at the hotel. Famous hot springs are 12 miles away. Local people are friendly. I was the only aircraft there on a Saturday.

April 21, 2024Better than being an NTSB report by landing in the desert when your prop governor fails. Or landing at the naval air station and filling out paperwork with a washed up Maverick wannabe. Water isn't potable but there's bottled water in the lounge with a decor that sorta reminds me of camp. Even wifi and a car with keys to drive into town for beers and pizza.

April 3, 2024If you want to get away from humans, this is your spot! Otherwise, just move along :(

March 18, 2021Stopped for Jet fuel. Nozzle was full of mud so had to clean that. Pumped to 33.2 gallons then pump shut off with a “no flow” error. Actual fuel received was about 15 gallons. No receipt printed either. Stopped here a couple months ago and pump did not work at all. This is a great place to have fuel, if it ever works.

March 14, 2021Stopped here for a fuel stop and to stretch my legs. 100LL and Jet A pumps are operational and in excellent condition. There is a pilots lounge and a crew car available to go in to town. A real hidden gem. Also, the scenery is beautiful-
