Perfect stop when traveling from south to north. Some of the most affordable fuel, outstanding facility that is accessible 24 hours, plus courtesy vehicles. Plenty of dining options nearby if required. Easily one of the premier fuel stops in the Midwest

We selected this airport as a stop near the midpoint between our base in the DFW metro area and Lexington, Kentucky. Our experience with the initial stop on 2 round trips planned late June into late July motivated us to return, so we ended up stopping here 4 times. Fuel is quite affordable as advertised, FBO is minimally staffed, standard self serve operation, ample courtesy cars and a few places to dine within a 3 or 4 minute drive.

This is an excellent airport. Cheapest fuel price around at the time of this writing and accurately ores on ForeFlight. This is going to sound silly, but the hose reel for the fuel is the best I’ve ever encountered — nice and wide so there’s plenty of room for the hose to coil on without running off the edge or getting too thick on the reel and binding up. Also, motor to reel it in is set at the correct speed — slow but steady. Anyone who has done a lot of self serve at airports knows that these little details make it a lot easier, faster, and cleaner to fuel up and get going. A few other great things about this FBO. Courtesy car keys are right there ready to go even if no one’s at the desk. Heaven forbid you need a first aid kit, there’s one in plain view. The building and bathrooms are very, very clean. Whoever runs this place should be really proud.

I have been through Kenneth 5 times in the last 3 months. Nice clean airport. Cheap Avgas self serve. It’s a good place to stop.
