First time visit to TorC and Chad made us feel like rock star family members. Very welcoming to an airport that obviously wisely uses its funds. From our initial approach through departing for our overnight stay in town, Chad ensured we had things we didn't even know to ask for. We have never been treated so well in all our travels. This will be a stop on all cross countries going forward.

Flew in for a day trip to look around and "take the waters" --- airport staff could not have been nicer. FBO is clean and well appointed. Dirt runways very well maintained. Rented a car from Whitehead Auto who were also most helpful and reasonably priced.

Flew into KTCS to get my soak on at Riverbend Hot Springs. Then onto a tour of Space Port America. Chad, the airport manger was super helpful. Hooked me up with a rental car and gave great ideas of places to go. While there are a lot of “gavel” runways to choose from I opted to land on the only paved runway. It’s in great shape. Highly recommend you check out this gem of an airport.

I had to make an unscheduled stop here due to a mechanical problem. Everyone was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. They made a difficult situation much better. They are working hard to make this a great airport. Stop by and support them! Lots of interesting history. Only negative aspect was that there currently are not any rental cars available at the airport or in town.

No tie down fees! Complimentary water bottles in the pilot lounge. They have an old flight service station there that is really neat. Plenty of dirt runways as well.
