Excellent FBO facilities. Line staff as well as owner Calvin were friendly and accommodating. Wouldn't hesitate to go here instead of the now-more-expensive Vantage at DLH, about the same drive time from downtown/canal park areas. Great flight school too, planes had competitive rates and good availability with flexible instructors.

The on-field mechanic (Bryce?) misdiagnosed my bad alternator as a bad regulator, then charged me $800 to replace the alt (lycoming O-235) which is 2 bolts and a belt and I PAID FOR THE ALTERNATOR!!! Went to leave, fuel pressure gauge pegged full. Mechanic got aggressive when confronted with that, accusing me of trying to get over on him. Very bad experience here at the repair shop. I would strongly recommend flying to Duluth for any needed repairs if possible. EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTING EXPERIENCE
