I made a reservation on FlightBridge.com with my arrival time after normal FBO hours. I also reserved a rental car with Avis through FlightBridge. The FB was staffed by Jarrett at the time of my arrival. He informed me Avis did not bring a car over to the FBO. Jarrett was happy to provide a Crew Car and had a positive attitude even though he had to wait for us to arrive. Excellent FBO and Thank you Jarrett!

SPS has been a wonderful stop for many trips. The FBO isn't overly fancy but very pleasant, they let us take the crew car overnight when the local Avis closed early and would not drop off a vehicle, and their hangar rates are quite reasonable. Landing at a joint use airport can be daunting, but Rey 18/36 is not typically used by the USAF and if complicated instructions are provided ask for what you prefer, often your request is accommodated.

Stopped here for a fuel stop, would not do that again. Airport is mainly military. Controllers are very complicated. Not the right airport for a convenient stop. FBO had no clue how to fuel a PA46, had to watch them the entire time.

Good service from the line guys and Mae in the office. We used a nice crew car for a couple of hours. No fees for a piston twin with a 50 gallon fuel purchase. Turning base to final 500 feet over taxing jet fighters was a first for us.

Stopped here for fuel and lunch and I was greeted and well served. I was offered a crew car but chose the easy walk to terminal for lunch. The restaurant is changing hands this week so unknown what the new hours will be. If the AFB is active suggest you approach from the West to avoid jet traffic.
