Nothing but good things to say about overnight stop at SLR. Christie was super nice and helpful in arranging use of a crew car and the facilities were nice and clean all around. Inexpensive fuel and plenty of ramp parking. Thank you. Brent

Great place to stop and overnight! Uber friendly and very helpful! Clean FBO and the fuel prices are very very good. Full service (except no lav cart) Hangar space is extremely limited so plan accordingly. We had a rental car from enterprise, could not get ahold of them to have it dropped off at the airport, SO, they told us to use a crew car to get it and to drop it off! Nice small city, has most all you could need/want. Stayed 2 nights. Will post that on trip advisor. Thanks Cristie!

Awesome airport and staff. I understand Joey Baker is the 2022 Tx Airport Manager of the Year and it shows. Excellent service and accommodations.

I arrived late in the afternoon in need of transportation to a hotel for the evening. There is no Uber or taxi in town according to the hotel. I was able to contact the manager, Joey, who made a late model crew car available for the evening. A pleasant experience.

Got stranded there last night when our Mooney wouldn’t start after getting gas. The mechanic on the field picked up his phone at 8pm, came right up to try to help and, when we decided it would need to wait for daylight, he got us in contact with the airport manager who also came right up and gave us a brand new courtesy car for overnight. Together they were extremely helpful, even late at night and asked for nothing in return (we left some cash, but still). Mechanic got us in the air first thing the next morning and our tanks were full with reasonably priced gas. Thank you again!
