An amazing FBO, Bart and John welcomed us and let us o/n in the pilot lounge. We took The courtesy car to visit the town and it is a culinary gem. The museum is definitely worth visiting and we drove around the lake and took a swim. It was fun to watch the crop dusters in action and our Grumman was the only non-AG plane in sight. Wonderful, friendly folk and a fantastic place to visit. Will definitely be back to have the best range of cuisine in Iowa.

Courtesy car and friendly folks made for a fine lunch stop. The Smokin' Hereford BBQ place was a quick drive with really good BBQ.

I fully agree with Nathan S on Jason D being employee of the month. Stopped through going Salida and he couldn't have been more helpful. He even gave me some mountain flying tips that helped relieve any anxiety. Top notch guy.

I cannot say enough good things about this place whenever we visit Storm Lake. Excellent little airport. Amazing town. Staff is very friendly and courteous and so helpful. Runway is in great shape. Jason D should be named employee of the month for his help during my last stop there!
