If you decide to come to Suffolk, and it's a Friday, call ahead because they will leave early before the published times and you'll be stuck trying to figure out how to get fuel. I had been flying all day and just needed enough fuel to make it back to KPGV. I arrived at 4:30 pm on a Friday and the kid that was supposed to be there working left early. Quite disappointing.

I found myself at Suffolk because a nearby airport could only produce two dead JetA trucks. Oscar gave us superb service including working around an issue with our fleet gas card. The restaurant threw together a quick meal for my camera operator (that tends to get hangry). We will certainly be back.

I stopped in here for a few days. Omar was kind enough to offer me a hangar at a great rate! Bob helped me get the plane towed over and put away. The bbq at the restaurant was excellent. Getting a rental car was quite easy too. I’ll definitely be back, even if just to stop in for lunch— Thank you!!! Ronnie

Due to sever weather I found myself having to divert to KSFQ for the night unexpectedly. I arrived just after closing time, Oscar & Bob coordinated a plan to have my plane put in a hangar. Bob met me upon arrival and quickly directed me to the hangar and helped me push it in. Now the plane was sheltered from the storms that arrived as we closed the doors. Then the power went out as a result of the severity of the line of weather. The generator now doing its job I was trying to get an Uber or local taxi. Bob suggested a local Hilton Garden on the river downtown 4 miles away and provided me with a phone number. I was in luck and had a safe place to weather the storm out for the night. No Uber available and taxi cabs backed up for over an hour Bob saw to it and made arrangements for my transportation personally and suggested a few restaurants nearby. The next morning same transportation situation. Bob coordinated with Oscar and Oscar saw to it that I had a ride from the hotel to the airport
