May 10, 2025We flew in earlier this week. ATC was pleasant. Fuel prices were low. However, regarding food or scenery, there was absolutely nothing.

APT Lighting Schedule: Actvt reil runway 08l, papi runway 08l & runway 26r, hirl runway 08l/26r, and mirl runway 08r/26l - CTAF.
Avoid dct overflight of pio pico energy center below 2000 ft AGL, 3 nm east of ap.
Be alert to airport bdry one mile north from mexican/usa intl border.
Be alert to high terrain 3,566 ft. MSL six miles east of airport.
Be alert when departing on runway 08l at night due to rising terrain to the east.
For cd when atct closed contact socal approach at 800-448-3724.
Fuel Types Available: For jet fuel aft hours call FBO at 619-671-9222; fee for callout. mil fuel available by calling 619-671-9222.
No engine opns on ramps except as necessary for arrivals/departures.
Noise sensitive areas approx 1 mile west of airport, 1/2 mile northwest, and 2 miles north.
Para jumping on airport and 3 miles east.
