June 6, 2025We stopped in on a Sunday for Breakfast. Sam Blue had a car available for us. We had a nice breakfast at the Red Wing Cafe then Filled the car with gas. Thanks again for your help. Phil

October 5, 2024Excellent FBO. Arlen was very friendly and assisted me with a courtesy car. He pointed out that the cars have maps of the local dining spots, in both Wisconsin and Minnesota. I visited the bakery in Redwing, which was quite nice. Before leaving, I fueled up with Avgas from a clean, modern pump, and the price was around $2 less per gallon than at my home base in the Twin Cities.

October 5, 2023Airport does not regularly update fuel prices, so the cost can sometimes be much higher. Otherwise nice airport and FBO.

August 26, 2023A superb location to stop. Staff was very helpful and even stayed late when we had ELT problems. Highly recommend visiting here!

December 26, 2021Not sure why fuel is so expensive for being fairly far away from anything (over a dollar more than some other small airports this far from Minneapolis) but a nice stop nonetheless. Quiet, nice FBO. Easy in and out if you’re in a hurry. If you’re not, two nice courtesy cars that both say “Red wing airport courtesy car” on the side. I think both Chevy Impalas. Very scenic little airport on the bluffs on the MN/WI border. There was no one there on a Saturday afternoon when I came through. I’d stop again. Just don’t expect cheap fuel!

August 2, 2021Fuel prices were a little higher than at other nearby airports, but the warm welcome and a couple of courtesy vehicles more than compensated for it. You should check out the Pie Plate Cafe for lunch and their signature pie. Take some time to walk in Memorial Park, which is situated on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi, the city, and the surrounding region.
