Do yourself a favor and stop in Red Oak! Kevin, the airport Mgr is the nicest guy you will ever meet. Their prices are great, and the entire experience defines “friendly little airport”. We stayed overnight, and Kevin loaned us the crew car and recommended a great hotel with an awesome restaurant! (Taco Tuesday, and the crispy tacos were the best I’ve ever eaten. We will definitely be back, thank you Kevin!

Do not miss this location! Superb staff and service. I was greeted by the friendliest FBO manager to assist with fueling. My old man brain forgot his name but he was fantastic. Not the lowest fuel price nearby but competitive, and the crew car and welcoming atmosphere were excellent!

I have been landing in Red Oak, IA for 10 years. First with a Mooney and lately with a Twin Cessna. This is one of the finest airports across the Midwest. Their fuel prices remain consistently low and the fuel pump is quite simple to use. Their FBO offers 24/7 access, features a pleasant kitchenette, and there are always staff present to assist. They provide a shower in the facilities if needed. It is fast to establish IFR contact while communicating with Omaha Approach. A courtesy car is also available when required.
