Good fuel stop; had to use a flashlight on the screen to get the backlight working at night. Had to call Cherry Pt approach via phone for clearance; the initial route added an opposite direction vector toward the West for about 20 miles. Lost radio reception from takeoff until approximately 15 miles west at 3,000 feet.

Gas pumps are modern now with typical card reader and screen to enter gallons or dollars. Nice field and good enough FBO for reasonably priced fuel.

The fuel pump pay station is the newer version you find at most self serve pumps which let you put in number of gallons or dollars after swiping your card. It worked fine. FBO is perfectly fine especially considering the reasonable price for 100LL. A nice pleasant gentleman has been there on the Sundays when we have stopped for fuel. Nice runway

The self-serve fuel now accepts credit cards. However, my AMEX would only process a charge of $75 per transaction. It became a bit tedious having to run the card again every ten gallons or so. The FBO closes at 5pm. There are no restrooms or other amenities available when the FBO is closed, not even a waste receptacle.
