Nice FBO, but several staff members were impolite and a $50 landing fee for a light twin just to eat at the restaurant is excessive. It costs less to land at Mackinac Island!

Great airport and FBO lounge. There are a few tie-downs and also an electric outlet for the winter. The FBO staff is friendly and helpful. Budget and Avis are available in the Terminal a few steps away. They will drop a car at the FBO if you ask. The Pellston Lodge is across the street and looked ok but I didn't stay. The FBO said they would give a ride. DA40

Decent little FBO, No fees. Ramp guy even ran me down the road in one of the airport vehicles to Family Dollar to get a charger for my devices. Very nice customer service. Hoppies was pretty cool, quiet place overlooking the runway and ramp, fast service and good food.

PS - The ramp has cleats & chocks but no ropes. If you’re planning on tying down, bring your own ropes, FYI.

Just had a 4-day stay, A36…no charge to park, nice folks, prompt attention, reasonable fuel rate. Multiple long runways. What is there not to like? Excellent facility.
