Visited to see the museum and have lunch at the diner. Both are very good. Most of the planes and vehicles still run! The museum staff are happy to talk and answer questions. We went over to the FBO for self serve fuel - good prices!

FBO nice, with easy self service fuel. Tiedown fees were steep at $25 per night for my RV-10, with one night free with gas purchase.

Parked overnight on the ramp. There was a twenty-five dollar per night fee for parking. Did not require any services from the FBO. When departing the following day, heavy snow arrived before I could leave. The charter company offered to store my aircraft in the hangar at no cost for a few hours, while I wait out the snow, so I won't have to deal with a snow covered plane!

Stopped in to clear customs. Fueling was very convenient and the staff were very helpful. Make sure to call ahead for customs and find out if they have any ferries to attend as this could delay their arrival.

Diverted here to avoid storms on the way to Airventure. Got fueled up and debated whether to try and go around the storms. Clay, at the desk, mentioned two hotels within walking distance to the FBO, and excellent Mexican restaurant next to them. That, fatigue, offering to get tucked inside the hangar ($95), and use of the crew car overnight convinced us to spend the night. It’s a well run operation, and Clay and the staff went out of their way to assist us.
