Exceptional service provided to me in my Cirrus. I will certainly return.

Line service is awful unless you are in a jet. I pulled up on the ramp and was ignored by the line crew. Called them up on Unicom and told them I was staying overnight and needed to know where to park. A line guy walked out toward me, pointed to some tie-down spots, and then walked off. I parked myself and then had to request chalks. The ladies inside were wonderful and assisted me in securing a hotel and transport. Fifty dollars per night parking for a single-engine piston, which is extremely high considering my reception.

Experience here was surprising and disappointing. Marshaller was very rude and signaled to get away and park away from the building, but gave no indication of where to go. Another line person came with a golf cart to point us to a spot far away. Nobody chocked us. Ignored by all line personnel. Picked up a pax with an injured leg who had to hobble all the way out to the edge of the ramp. Same experience on return. Elected to self-fuel as a result. Never had this before, had to apologize to pax.

North Star was excellent! Helped arrange a last minute rental car, which was dropped off at the FBO 15 minutes later. Overnight fees are a bit steep for tie down of my little plane, but the friendly service made up for it.

Stopped in here on a cross country from Portland to Milwaukee. North Star was a fantastic FBO, had a great pilot lounge. Self Serve fuel is a bit away, across from the training facility. The staff was very accommodating... no ramp fee was charged.
