Mineral Point is now an AirVenture tradition for us! First time two years ago was excellent, and we stopped both directions this year because the folks here are so great. We'll be back next year!

I was met at the (newer, good price) fuel pump by the airport manager. Parking was simple. It was a 10 min wait for the single retired police SUV to return from town. I ran my errand and also had a quick lunch at Cafe 43 (recommended). This was mid-week around noon and I saw a Champ in the pattern and a Warrior, 172 and turboprop single come and go while I was there. I got the impression that they are trying to make this airport function well for pilots.

Stopped by on my Labor Day vacation trip. Nice self serve fuel setup. I stopped after hours so I didn't see any staff. But the facilities are decent. I will stop by again sometime.

Stopped in early on the way to Oshkosh. Taylor met us at the aircraft and helped with the fueling. Almost felt bad just doing a gas-n-go as they were set up with food and snacks for travelers. Fantastic stop, and postcard rolling farmland all around. We will be back!

Good stop for fuel. Used crew car to get lunch.

Absolutely amazing service. Pulled up for Oshkosh and Taylor met us at the airplane with a fuel hose and a smile. She let us use the crew car to go grab some lunch and the facilities were great. I will be back soon!
