Berkeley County Airport KMKS Pilot Reviews

Nice new runway. Not sure what the point of self serve fuel is if it's the same price as full service. Certainly not what is happening in the rest of the industry. Guess that's what happens when Charleston County takes over a neighboring county's airport. Otherwise good facilities and pleasant people.

My wife and I flew to KMKS to pickup our daughter and spend a few days in Vermont enjoying the fall colors. The staff at KMKS were great to us and even though they only have self serve Jet A, they fueled our Vision Jet twice in poor weather making our trip seamless. Excellent staff, superb service and wonderful people. Thank you.

Excellent experience today in a CJ1. The line staff was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make our visit as smooth as possible. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience. I was greeted by a very nice lady with a bottle of cool water. Had to wait a few minutes with refueling. Two gentlemen towed my plane to the pump and did all the work. We also had a very nice and helpful chat about the high temperatures. Thank you very much for the great and friendly service!

Wonderful place. Stopped en route from Lynchburg VA to Florida after a rough flight. The gentlemen gave me a water, towed my Cessna 172 to fuel, and assisted with fueling. A nice place to take a break between legs.
