Wonderful people at the FBO and also the various hangar owners. I landed my taildragger to drop off my kid at summer camp and one of the springs shimmied off my tail wheel upon landing. A very kind couple assisted me in repairing the issue, then another gentleman approached me later complimenting my ‘clean’ plane (his suggestion: try “Budha Belly” cleaner as another safe choice). The office personnel allowed me to book the courtesy car ahead of time and were excellent to deal with. I strongly endorse this airport!

Excellent facility, very friendly people, and reasonable fuel costs. It is clean and staffed seven days a week. They offer a courtesy car and snacks, plus Wi-Fi access.

Wife had a baby shower in Monticello. It was a beautiful winter day to fly. Wife called the FBO and reserved the courtesy car. Vicki was wonderful and super helpful. We arrived and she had the car ready. Clean bathrooms, beautiful grounds and facility, and beverages available. Found a great restaurant a couple miles away - Oak and barrel. Highly recommend. We will be back!

We love Townsend. Nice building, well kept grounds, and always greeted with a smile. They are unbelievably accommodating with the courtesy car, which was really the only reason we were able to fly to Monticello rather than taking a long drive. Couldn’t find a rental otherwise. In fact, they drove it out to the aircraft right after we landed to let us transfer baggage more easily. Great trip thanks to Townsend.
