Signature Aviation KLRD Pilot Reviews

Extremely slow line service. Called in range with fuel order and lav request, no one to park us, had to radio them to see where they want us. Parked and no one came, gave service order again, walked inside- answer: shift change. Waited 50 minutes to get a fuel truck with no other aircraft arriving or departing.... line service is not well run.

Stopped here on the evening of August 6, 2024, without a doubt the most disorganized group of people I have ever encountered. Nobody seemed to know anything, and couldn't answer simple questions. Perhaps I was speaking a foreign language, or maybe it was the fact they were on their cell phones. I use Signature at many airports, usually a Very Good FBO. I will never return to this location again.

Angie took good care of me on arrival. My cargo was delayed several hours and I didn't get in until about 2330C. No ubers and the crew car is available for 2 hour intervals. Angie met me ramp side, I had two ground service men on arrival and got fuel without any delay. The FBO is in the middle of renovations, but all around a nice place and excellent service. Angie needs a raise for her dedication to excellence, she took me to the hotel and told me about all of the food options. Laredo was nice.

Top-notch service from ground staff, even flying in a light single. They even brought an umbrella out to us. Lent us crew car for appointment in town, and handling fee waived with 10g+ purchase. Will stop here next time!

Flew in a civilian UH-60. Landed just long enough to let a thunderstorm pass. Had to talk my way out of $105 dollars in fees. No fuel. No hangar. Just to land.

Based upon my experience today, the ramp fee is $34
