One of the most helpful and friendly FBOs I've encountered. Surprisingly it was not at all busy, MidCoast is one of aviation's best kept secrets.

Stopped for fuel on the way north. Military airspace is all around so ensure you are communicating with SAV approach. Self serve is quite straightforward and reasonably priced. Used the courtesy car for a quick lunch run. Everyone was very helpful and LHW was low key. Appreciate the nice service.

We were en route from Tampa to Maine when my wife became ill. I was planning to land at KSAV, when ATC recommended MidCoast. I could not have selected a superior location to stop. The personnel there are truly superb. They fueled and secured the aircraft, organized lodging at the local LaQuinta Inn, secured us a rate reduction at the hotel with early check-in at no additional cost, provided transportation to the motel, and collected us the following morning so we could resume our journey. I am extremely grateful for all their assistance.

Great spot for AvGas and for pilots who like interesting small airports to fly into. Everyone on the line at the FBO, right up to the control tower, is very professional.

All previous comments are true. Friendly and helpful, great facility, crew lounge w quiet room and shower if you need. I was weathered in on my way to Florida. They gave me a ride to a hotel.

Great airport to stop for inexpensive fuel and tidy facilities. A hidden gem, as others have noted.
