Good stop. Self serve with a very nice fuel station. Use Gallons on Pump Selection. This will avoid large holds on your card. Manager mentioned programmer set it up for Jets. He walked over when we pulled in to give us instructions- plus helped with the fueling. Your Planes not empty so use maximum gallons that your plane holds and you got it covered.

This airport is mostly unattended but is well thought out. The FBO building and self service fuel (reasonably priced) are available 24/7. Tie downs are available and signs point to where the preferred spots are. I would suggest bringing your own ropes. We never had to call the manager for anything. Xpress car rental is about a mile away. Their cars are nothing fancy, but they accomplish the job and I was happy with the service. They collected me right after we landed. Kanab is a nice town with hotels and restaurants and we used it as a launching point to visit Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Parks. There is significant terrain to the north. Winds were calm for us on our early AM departure so we departed south.

Cozy IV, a two night stay and refueling stop one week later. Wonderfully scenic surroundings. Airport highly recommended. Super clean ramp and tie down wells. Ample ramp parking. Recommend not to tie down in front of terminal so as to leave room for the local Scenic Charter companies who often come by and stop there for passengers. Dependable self service 100LL fuel at fair price. Oil available in terminal. Terminal building always open. Comfortable couches. Taxi and rental car service contacts posted in lobby. Very good local car rental company was available and on call on a holiday weekend to deliver our reserved car.

Came to Kanab with a PC12. Bringing your own chocks and ropes is still the way to go. The airport building is great and has everything you need. Jeff, the airport manager, was very accommodating and made a special trip out to the airport to fuel us. Their Jet-A truck does have Prist if you need it. Hope to be back soon again!
