Stop at Sheltair for a 3 day stay. Rental car was on the ramp upon arrival; I made the arrangements via phone with the front desk a few days prior. Very efficient ramp personnel and support staff. This is the FBO to select when visiting Jacksonville.

Facility fee for PA-46: $25 waived with fuel purchase. Landing fee for PA-46: $18.78. Security fee: $15.45. Customs fee: $66.95. They also charge a 3% convenience fee which is for using a credit card. Seriously, who doesn't use a credit card?

Despite all the numerous fees, service at SheltAir was wonderful. The lineman met us at Customs and made sure we made it to the FBO okay. The fees are mainly because they really don't like GA cluttering up the airport and dragging customs agents away from the marine environment. Sheltair has always given us excellent service and was very accommodating. They are always our preferred FBO when coming back from the Bahamas.

I diverted into JAX in a helicopter due to numerous maintenance issues. The staff was more than helpful and made sure I was taken care of, the helicopter in a safe area on the ramp, and they even provided transportation over to the terminal so I could get a flight out. Jojo, Keyarra, Justin, and Phil were all fantastic! Highly recommend Sheltair.

Great FBO with excellent service for a piston single. Waived facility fee with 10 gal minimum. FBO well equipped with pilots lounge, planning room, and even a crew "gym" with weights and treadmill. Friendly line and desk staff.

I am back again this year for a few days; always same good welcome and service from the lineman up to the counter staff, Stacie, which was so kind to reserve us a rental car at crew rate. Hard to beat!
