This airport is one of the finest in the Chicago area. The FBO is tidy and well-arranged; Sandy and Sophie do excellent work behind the counter, and all of the line personnel are very attentive. The FBO is kept meticulously clean and organized exceptionally well. Full service is offered exclusively, but the team is very swift. Chicago center on 132.5 provides clearance while on the ground. Having new runway markings on 4-22 is also a great improvement.

Agree with everyone else, this is a superb stop over! The young staff are friendly, helpful and quite prompt. Fuel prices are reasonable and the courtesy car is fairly new. The airport is well south of town and you’ll need the car to get to any food choices. Chicago Center will give you your clearance right there on the ground, which makes things pretty easy. A wonderful 1/2-way point between the heart of the Midwest and the East Coast.

Had a client needing to come to this area for the evening. What an excellent place. Quick, easy and reasonably priced fuel. Two wonderful people working, and they went out of their way to help not only me the pilot, but took care of passengers too. Highly recommend this FBO. Only downside is no after hours fuel without a call out fee.

This past August/September we made a number of fuel stops at KIKK on cross countries from Philadelphia to Rapid City and Billings. In each case we were very impressed with the service we received from the KIKK team. We enjoyed meeting the friendly staff as we used the very attractive FBO to eat our picnic lunches. On one occasion we landed to find a Commemorative Air Force B-25 gracing the ramp and swarmed by admiring aircraft enthusiasts but even with all of the commotion the FBO staff quickly topped our DA40 off for a quick turn around. We look forward to returning.
