There is a gate code. Previous comment didn't know to look around before exiting the ramp. Most affordable self serve fuel around. Excellent airport. Pay attention for the gliders, but they are on the radio so you should know where they are at.

Is this the only General aviation airport in the USA that doesn't have a gate with a code for after hours transient parking? This is a serious flaw in the airport...naturally I won't be giving them my business. For I was going to buy fuel there as well

09/02/24 I was going to fly in to meet some friends for dinner. I called the FBO to see when their open times were. They informed me they close at 7pm. I asked what the code was for a gate to get access to my plane after 7pm for I was eating dinner with friends. They informed me no way to enter the airport except through the FBO and it was $125 PER HOUR for someone to stay to let me in to access my plane. That is absolutely unacceptable....I thought they were joking...but they were serious.

9/13/21. Fuel farm was being filled with fuel from 18 wheeler when I arrived. Owner was there and very pleasant and I just waited a few minutes and I fueled with just a slight delay. The ramp is large enough to service a 747 and I and the truck were the only ones occupying this massive ramp, however as I waited on the ramp for the fueling a Cessna 177 pulled up behind. I did a friendly gesture to tell the owner pilot that it would be just a few minutes. She stated in a terse manner that she was not there for fuel and I was blocking her parking as a transient on this massive ramp. Be kind People!
