So JETA is available. Betty essentially runs things. Call her direct if needed... 775-945-9286

What a gem of a place. Had to divert here due to extreme forest fire smoke and visibility went to less than a mile. Couldn't see runway til about 1/2 mile away. I get landed and this wonderful gal named Betty is there to greet me even though it was after 8pm. This lady is an absolute treasure for Hawthorne. No words can describe my appreciation for her. She absolutely loves her community and airport. My stay consisted of two days and it was a treat for me. Definitely will return just to visit.

Although Foreflight doesn't show it, this airport does sell Jet-A fuel.

Self-serve 100LL and Jet A available 24/7. Well-known local airport volunteer Betty will meet and greet you to Hawthorne if you file a flight plan into KHTH; she's a dedicated volunteer who documents every arrival and departure to help bring FAA funding to the airport. As a result, the runway is in beautiful shape! Betty's a hoot to chat with, too.

Very good place to stop. Tony greeted me and helped fuel my aircraft with 100LL at the self serve. Highly recommend this FBO.

Amazing little airport! Worth going out of your way to stop by and fuel up. Well maintained and the service is top notch. Betty is the sweetest and gave us a ride to the store as well as helped us fuel up. Town also has two great museums.
