The crew from FBO came out to volunteer the self-service pump - excellent attitude! The ramp parking is quite far from the pump (practice your hot start skills!). We utilized a crew car - not in pristine condition but very serviceable. Runway is in superb condition! Fuel prices are likely the lowest around the country - a great spot for fueling and a meal stop. FBO is very nice.

HRX is a wonderful place to stop for fuel in the Texas panhandle. Fuel price is consistently very good, self serve functions well and FBO has everything a pilot requires. Stopped today homeward bound for fuel and a restroom break, Matt met me at the self serve pump and offered to help me with the fueling. Restroom was tidy and snacks and drinks easily accessible. Great paved wide runway made the West Texas crosswind a "no factor".

Third time through in 4 years. Was not attended this time but pumps are fast and newer. Building open to access bathrooms. It's next to a feed lot, you will see lots of cows on final approach and smell them too.

Went into HRX after dark, found self serve pump without delay, best fuel price in this area. This is a wonderful stopping spot for anyone in the NW Texas area. Very good runway and taxiways, very clean facilities.

I used HRX today for the first time to transfer Angelflight passengers. This FBO was just the experience these first time GA passengers needed to feel comfortable. HRX is easy in/easy out, self serve fuel is simple and priced correctly. Runway and taxi ways are in great shape, FBO is well set up with anything a pilot needs.

Incredibly friendly FBO. Slept on the couch after being stranded here due to weather. Crew car was available. Cheap self service fuel.
