Tie down is now $10 / night for a piston single

Great facility. Labor Day weekend trip 2025. Rented a car through Hertz, location in FBO terminal. Easy pickup. They were closed when we departed, so we left the keys with the desk. $20/night fee for C-414a. Fair amount of training in the area, but easy IFR release with TPA approach.

Overall, a fine facility. We had some trouble because they failed to leave the rental car keys in the after hours lockbox. I think the manager sorted that out. With authorization, they shifted my Twin Cessna to the grass because of the snow/ice/standing water conditions. Days later, before leaving, I requested they relocate the airplane back to the ramp and put fuel in it. They surprised me with a "towing fee" for moving the aircraft back to the ramp. I would steer clear of Enterprise Rental Car. They only delivered one of the two vehicles, even after I confirmed the reservation. Hertz operates on site.

Flew in for a four day meeting. Excellent self serve fuel prices. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice FBO inside with a restaurant, pilot shop, and clean restrooms. TPA easy to work with getting IFR clearance to depart.

Stopped 21 March with a couple of Cubs for lunch at the cafe. No services required, but the line crew checked to see if we needed anything and the folks at the front desk were great. Very professional. The next time I will return with an airplane that has a higher fuel burn and top off. These folks deserve the business.
