Quiet little airport located up about as far as you can go in the east. Runway, ramp and FBO all in excellent condition. Matt was friendly and super helpful. Came out to refuel my aircraft at the self serve and helped me push back. Had the courtesy car all filled up and running. Be sure to call ahead as he wears many hats at the airport. Headed to the Lakeview Restaurant for lobster rolls and then onto Fort Kent to visit the monument for the beginning of Route 1. Looking forward to our next visit!

Can’t recommend KFVE enough. Not only is it the farthest north airport in New England, and totally worth the flight, the airport manager Matt was friendly and very accommodating. While my airplane was tied down we had a big wind storm come through and he went out to check on the plane, saving me an hour drive. He swapped out one of my tie down straps I was worried about. Will be back soon!

Excellent service to the Northern Maine area. Matt the manager is very helpful. Plenty of tie downs and hanger space as well as plug in for heat. Free rental car to access the beautiful St. John River Valley. Excellent campsite for free over looking Long Lake!
