In an attempt to avoid a massive line of thunderstorms...Welcome to TX, we made it to KFST. Although we arrived late around 2035L manager met us and offered us the hanger to get out of the elements and wind. Crew car was available and we highly recommend K-BOB's steakhouse, open till 2200. Abundance of hotels but on a Tuesday, we finally got a room on the 6th try. The next day we self served 100LL at a good price and away we went. We will definitely be stoping again. Highly recommend KFST.

Outstanding overnight stay here. I will return. Called the FBO to let them know I would be landing around 6 PM, which is an hour after their closing time. I called upon landing and was given instructions on how to get the courtesy car, which I kept overnight. The town is near the airport. Hotels are plentiful. Inexpensive avgas. Great stopover. I plan to be back.

Nice new building now. Arrived after hours, but manager made arrangements for courtesy car. Will stop again.

Very good FBO, though it is in an older building, it had cold AC and clean bathrooms. I couldn't locate the keys for the courtesy car, so I called Randy; he was quite helpful and directed me where to check. Went into town for lunch. Excellent stop.
