Fort Dodge Flight Support KFOD Pilot Reviews

July 22, 2025No full service fuel, self-serve only. Friendly folks there, comfy chairs in the pilot lounge. Tie downs are right next to the terminal building.

January 25, 2025I was surprised to learn yesterday when I made a fuel stop that the AvGas is currently self serve. Previously I had always been fueled up with their truck at the terminal. It would be convenient if there was a Notam for this; it would have saved me time and having to start two engines again to taxi over to the fuel farm. I've always had good service there in the past.

December 20, 2024The people at Fort Dodge Flight Support are friendly and helpful. I was marshaled in and chocked for easy parking by the door. Inside the facilities are neat and clean. I used the Crown Vic for a quick trip into town and also used the self-service fuel.

November 26, 2024I fly in often since my daughter is attending college close by. Excellent staff. Very helpful. Full service fuel is priced fairly. Clean restrooms and nice pilot lounge. The only thing that could improve it is a Kuerig coffee pot. They have a full size pot but it's not always practical to make a whole pot for just a loan cup here or there- Two courtesy vehicles available for use. Old Crown Vic and a van. I mentioned the tires needed replaced and the next weekend it had two new tires. Great ppl.

September 14, 2024Stopped at FOD for RON when wx preclude continuing east. Met us on the ramp, loaned us a crew car overnight. Full serve fuel very reasonable. Very nice facilities. This is definitely a GA-friendly location, even for us single-engine prop guys.
