Shelter air was by far the worst experience we have ever encountered. We departed two hours late because of their lack of concern for our citation. They did not fuel our airplane and we were parked behind five other airplanes at departure time. Ask for management to meet us, never showed, repeated phone calls for four days, never replied... only talked to management four days later from my phone call to them, and their excuse was we were busy. NEVER AGAIN to Sheltair. I will tell story to everyone.

Absolute worst ramp experience ever. This is not representative of other Sheltair locations. Ramp agents customer service skills are severely lacking. Waited several minutes at the entrance of the ramp to get a marshall to park us, and then waiting on fuel was like watching paint dry after we called in 20 minutes out for a quick turn. Fuel truck finally showed up 58 minutes after the request. Will be looking for other alternatives in FLL.

Awesome FBO. Really appreciated their friendly service, and their AVGAS prices are very competitive! Definitely my new choice at FLL.

Customs next door, a $42.33 fee to use. Things are expensive here, but it was easy in and out.

First time using an FBO on a commercial time-building XC flight. Very nice facility and staff. Nissan Altima courtesy cars are clean and run well. Forgot to call on Unicom but marshaller was ready to guide me in. Purchased 10 gals to waive tie-down/ramp fees, but there will still be a security fee and landing fee ($26 & $11 for a Piper PA28). Probably common knowledge for most, but good to know for those of us less familiar with the bigger FBOs at the class Cs.
