Scenic area, doesn't get much better. Excellent airport with small unattended FBO. Transient parking for single engine piston $21 per night. Easy walk into town to hotels and restaurants. Fuel pump on West side of the field. Don't forget right pattern on Runway 16 and follow noise abatement with climb to 1,100 MSL before turning, #cirruspilot

8/25/2023: The restaurant is presently closed; it should reopen sometime this fall. As mentioned below, park in the transient parking area in the northeast corner of the airport grounds near the flight planning shack and the pedestrian exit gate. Bring your own tiedowns. Downtown is a simple walk (downhill heading into town, uphill returning). Truly no need for any transport.

Nice airport with food walking distance. Pay overnight fee via QR code or old-school envelope. Self fuel across the field next to the restaurant. Definitely consider the Hangar Hotel for layover—aviation themed rooms, shared bathrooms, good for small groups. Owner runs the restaurant and is a highly experienced aviator (mil & civ). Airport Flight planning building is nice with bathroom. Be sure to park at the northeast apron for transient aircraft for easiest access to everything.
