The maintenance team at Colonial Air is amazing! I fly a DA40NG, was parked at PVD for a few days when the aircraft developed a flat main tire. No maintenance folks at PVD wanted to assist, nor anyone from nearby RI airports. Chris and his technician drove 45 minutes from Massachusetts to PVD to help and it turned out all I needed was a new tube. They were professional, quick to communicate, and were incredibly fair in their billing. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Colonial Air is a very friendly FBO. They are always willing to go out of their way to help and don’t mind when you arrive for fuel 5 minutes before they close. They have always had crew care available. They are the best FBO of the three at New Bedford.

This is the type of FBO who treats you like you are doing them a favour by doing business with them. They charge extra for their aircraft rentals but can’t clean up and repair their 172s. The morning crew on Friday can’t seem to at least act like they are glad to see you with their surly attitudes. I guess the over $800 I spent there wasn’t enough to provide decent customer service.
