July 20, 2024Stopped in on a Saturday to visit the guys at ROCK LIFE, no one was attending the FOB but, the courtesy car was available to venture over to Rock Life. Very nice airport and FOB. Thanks for having the car available.

July 19, 2024Stopped for fuel and lunch on a 94 degree humid day. The manager offered me the crew car without me having to ask and that turned out to be super helpful. I drove to the Black Stallion Steakhouse and had an excellent steak salad. That was refreshing while on a cross-US trip. That restaurant was not in walking distance but was an easy 6 minute drive. Thanks Mr. Manager (sorry, forgot to get your name). You're great.

July 27, 2023Excellent stop for the night at Wayne County. Offered a courtesy car and hotel recommendation by Joseph. Good airport for self serve fuel. Comfortable little town. Will certainly be back.

May 25, 2023Had to land due to low fuel and a subsequent technical problem. Jeff was very friendly and helpful, let us the courtesy car for 2 days and we got a cake from his wife before leaving! Great fuel price too! Excellent intermediate stop.

July 11, 2022Stopped by for a break while on a cross-country. The lineman is very friendly and inviting (cannot remember his name). Very nice place and I'll be stopping here again soon.

May 7, 2022Great airport for accessing Lake Cumberland. The ramp is in excellent shape, just like the runway. FBO is easily reached after hours and there are dining options close by. Self-serve avgas was the most affordable in the region. If you plan an overnight stay, remember to bring your own tie-down ropes or ratchet straps; there is ample space for transient aircraft parking.
