This FBO imposes a 3% surcharge when using a credit card for 100LL fuel.

59LM 8-22-25. What an exceptional FBO Hawthorne is. Had to make a quick trip to Eau Claire to get a computer screen fixed for our business. On short notice, contacted the FBO. A very pleasant lady, Dorleen, answered the phone. I told her of our situation and needed ground transportation just an hour or so. She said she will make it happen. She tracked our flight and knew exactly when we would arrive. The line crew was ready and waiting. The car was ready. Hawthorne is first class service in Eau Claire.

Handling fees and minimum fuel loads for Jet A is higher than usual. Fuel price is 3rd-4th highest in the state.

Excellent service. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sundays so plan accordingly for a weekend trip.

I stopped there for a little over an hour at the beginning of July. Zero fees for ramp parking. Very pleasant to work with.
