As others have mentioned, the fuel costs are quite reasonable and there is a superb restaurant right on the field. The gentlemen who run this field are among the kindest and most thoughtful people you will encounter, specifically Mr. Williams and Mr. Bishop. Over the years they have assisted me with a flat tire, landing lights, and just this past weekend offering a hangar because of the weather concern. I stop by frequently since my son resides in Dexter and it is a true gift to have such a wonderful airport location!

Imagine that. Reasonable fuel price with easy access, very fair price, good food, and then a pilot lounge for a cup of coffee for the next leg. Ranks right up there to a home run!

Arrived midday on a Friday. FBO unattended, but access was provided by the posted lock code, and everything a transient pilot might need is available inside. The self-service fuel pumps functioned well. Airways Cafe, located on the field, is open M-F 0600 - 1400, and Sat. 0600 - 1300. It is closed Sunday.

Very nice airport with a restaurant attached, fuel prices are excellent and the food was great.

Affordable fuel, pleasant facilities, and courtesy cars available. A nice, clean airport.

Stopped again, fantastic food and inexpensive fuel!
