Clovis Regional Airport KCVN Pilot Reviews

October 17, 2025Full service is about as slow as it gets. Big problem when the guy is just texting instead of fueling the airplane. I'll just skip this airport and go somewhere else. Will be emailing the photo to the airport email

April 30, 2025Some of the worst service I've gotten, was flying as a contract pilot in a Citation that's based on the field. Called ahead of time what time I'd be there, never showed up. Call 20 minutes later said they'd already closed. They'll be there in 30 minutes - an hour and half later still no fuel. Said they was waiting for me on the ramp and I never showed up. Just kind of strange. Didn't know where the aircraft was; it's based on the field.

December 10, 2024The jet fuel price is good here and the staff running it are very nice. The issue is there's a TSA area in front of what looks like the FBO, but it is not. There's a faint red line, and if you cross it you will be treated very poorly. I experienced that. There is absolutely no need for the TSA, especially when the people running it act like they are FBI or something. I would avoid going there except I feel sorry for the pleasant staff selling the fuel.

March 16, 2024The FBO/ pilot lounge is situated more to the north of the field. If you take the first turn off taxiway A after the passenger terminal, you will see fuel trucks. Do not confuse it with the passenger terminal! It is a small building featuring an Ice freezer outside and an "AV fuel" sign. Very friendly staff. Basic lounge amenities, a kitchen, and WiFi are available. The self-serve fuel is located on the far side of the ramp, toward the southwest end—just before the final private hangar that has a green roof.

January 16, 2024The self serve pump needs to reach 70psi to dispense fuel. If you attempt it too soon, you are only slowing down the procedure.
