Cut Bank Airport Authority FBO KCTB Pilot Reviews

Fuel pump was working just fine for me. Courtesy car was available for overnight stays. Experienced aviators provided insight about flying over the mountains to the Puget Sound area. Airport manager came to work early – let me into the museum.

Their pump was broken on my way to Oshkosh but the friendly staff let me borrow a crew car to get lunch even though I didn’t spend a dime. I would definitely stop here again. The flight over nearby Glacier National Park was amazing, too.

Cut Bank airport has a friendly line staff and ample hangar space even for bigger aircraft. Fuel prices are competitive, and the runways and ramp are in superb condition. Rental cars can be secured from two dealers in town, and they also offer courtesy cars. Additionally, there is a historic museum detailing the airport's initial use as a B-17 training base. It serves as a wonderful stopover for visiting Glacier National Park, offering an alternative to the pricier Kalispell spots on the western side.

Flew in for business with US Customs. Was treated very well by manager Ron. Two runways for four approaches due to regular winds but variable directions. Super easy to get courtesy car. An airport of entry for those interested. Used to be a B-17 training field for WW2 and they have old avionics on display to make any pilot love what suite their cockpit has. Two thumbs up Baron
