Amazing FBO. I flew in to re do one of my cross countries and the boot on my spark plugs came off, and wouldn't stay on. Bob helped me get me up and running, no questions asked and even stayed late for me. The two CFIs there were also great and gave me comfort! I was a long way from home and felt as though if I couldn't get up and running, I still had a place to stay. I decided to come here instead of DSM cause of fuel pricing. Very thankful I did. Awesome crew at Boone! I will be back!

Had a serious sudden engine issue in my Canadian RV9 just 4 miles north of Boone on a x-country trip on a Saturday afternoon. Lucky to be so close to land at an airport, especially this one. Ended up to be hardware ingestion into the intake. Mechanic Bob Jones (BJ) was on duty and quickly stopped what he was doing to help diagnose. Obviously a lot of work to ensure engine was serviceable and fortunate to be able to continue our trip. But not until Bob stayed past 6pm Saturday and then returned Sunday at 8am to finish up the work. Very thorough, thoughtful and competent mechanic! To top it off, gave us the crew car for the evening and pointed us to a hotel and restaurant. Thx Bob! Price? Very reasonable. I would have paid anything for this but no price gouging for this weekend work.
