This is one of my closer destinations to fly for fuel [based@mdq] and instrument practice approaches -RNAv 36 / 18 . The self serve 100LL pump generally works well and usually close or is the lowest $/gal within 50 miles. The Fbo/ BRs are clean and they do have a crew car available too. They have a jet A truck but not a 100LL truck.

I had a positive experience here. Friendly staff, low cost fuel and the car dealership next door does excellent rentals delivered to FBO. Worth a repeat visit for sure.

Arrived early for a checkride and the front desk attendant allowed us entry. However, this was only after she basically shouted at us for arriving ahead of schedule. She was incredibly impolite and should not be working in customer service.

Landed here after experiencing engine issues on a cross country. Luckily, A&P Jon Foote is based here. Jon was amazing and took such great care of us. It took almost 2 months to finally get our plane back in the air. A couple things to note: you can get a crew car here and you can also have enterprise bring a car down from Tullahoma. However, there are no rideshare options in Winchester. It’s a 1.5 hr drive to Nashville. Tullahoma is the home of the Beachcraft Heritage Museum. It is worth the trip.

We had to set our Mooney down here due to poor weather. After tying the plane down, we went inside the FBO and were met by two friendly gentlemen. We explained our situation and were promptly handed the keys to a crew car and received an excellent recommendation for dinner. We had to stay the night so we dropped the car off in the morning and used the self-service fuel. Wonderful service from friendly staff and a clean facility.
