Well run airport. What does that mean? Good people. Friendly, courteous, helpful folks. There are a couple of vet CFIs there. One an Airforce Academy graduate who taught over 500 Airforce pilots how to fly jet aircraft. The other a Vietnam Marine Super Stallion chopper pilot. Both humble men and good flight instructors.

Nice facility, clean bathrooms and helpful staff. Did not have the issue mentioned previously regarding credit card, one swipe, filled with 40 gal. I’ll be back when in the area.

Stopped on way to Chicago. Winds were 20+. Having 2 runways was primary reason for stopping here. Fuel price was second reason. Good airport.

Good fuel price, however, there are limits at $100, requiring you to re-swipe your card.
