Landed today on our flight to Santa Fe from Spicewood, Texas. It was exactly halfway, and I can say that the facilities were amazing! Also, the runways looked like they had just recently been refurbished. Nicer than most airports that I'm used to flying in or out of! Highly recommend. FYI, the fuel pump credit card system worked perfectly and we had no problem paying for our fuel.

Nice middle airport in the middle of nowhere. Good FBO, clean and well equipped. Ideal for a quick refuel stop. The issue is that the credit card reader on the self serve fuel pump is a bit unreliable. I needed to try four credit cards before it finally accepted one. The aircraft that arrived before me required the airport manager to come assist with the transaction. So be cautious if you plan to stop during off-hours…
