Rest assured that the comments are accurate. Derrick was on the ramp to meet me, ready to provide whatever he could. There is a courtesy car and a very neat minivan for rent - quite economical. The FBO is very nice; it has everything you need. I plan on returning: everyone in town is friendly and greets you, there are so many nice restaurants and shops, and the downtown, beach walk, and murals are beautiful. This location is a gem.

Made a quick trip up to stop for fuel and it was fantastic! Derrick was working and was very kind and courteous. Talked aviation and asked if we needed anything. Log cabin FBO has an awesome feel to it and all the amenities are superb. FBO was very clean and welcoming! We will certainly be back!

Great little log cabin FBO. Stopped by for fuel and the FBO manager Bill is a stand-up guy! Super friendly and offered very courtesy in the world on my stop to make you feel like family. If airport dogs are your thing, he has the sweetest pair of Newfoundlands you'll ever meet. Will definitely come back some time when I can make a day trip of the area!

Great stop if you like hiking the Lake Superior shoreline or Copper Falls State Park. Very nice airport facilities for overnight and lots of hotels. Airport vehicle was out for the days we were visiting but we used the rental car available from Ray’s Auto Repair. Give them a call to arrange. Car was at the airport waiting when we arrived and easily dropped off when we left.
