Bruce has moved on. Parking is self serve. Good tie down rings, but bring your ropes. Terminal Building is top notch. Complete with a center room stove reminiscent of a warming hut.

Visited KAQW on Christmas Day and could not have been more impressed with the facility and management. All facilities are in excellent shape, including runways, taxi ways, terminal, etc. Even on Christmas Day, Bruce came down to greet us on arrival despite my insisting there was no need. Could not have been happier with the customer service I experienced. Thank you again for everything Bruce!

A truly excellent stop. Nearby restaurant and there are multiple hiking trails close by for those inclined for a more spirited outing. Airport is being kept super clean and the care is obvious. Beautiful surroundings too. Very reasonable Self Serve fuel makes this a completely cool stop.

Pilots landing on runway 29 are encouraged to avoid low approaches, if safe to do so, over the residential neighborhood just east of the airport.

Bruce Goff is now the airport manager. He is available at 413-652-7587. There are tie-downs by the terminal. No landing fees for planes under 7500 lbs. Right pattern for runway 29.
